Amazon revises A+ Premium Content criteria for Sellers
Amazon has recently made changes regarding free access to A+ Premium Content for Sellers (you can find more detailed information on what A+ content entails in our article here).
Initially, premium A+ Content for Sellers required payment. However, during the summer of 2022, Amazon offered it for free, contingent on specific conditions: these conditions included ensuring that all ASINs in the catalog were covered by a Brand Story, along with the submission and approval of 15 A+ basic content within the past 12 months. Eligibility was reviewed monthly, with subsequent access granted accordingly.
The updated criteria for accessing premium A+ Content for Sellers are as follows:
- Sellers now need only 5 approved submissions within 12 months, down from the previous requirement of 15;
- Eligibility is granted every Friday, rather than at the end of each month as before;
- The requirement that all ASINs in the catalog must be covered by a Brand Story remains unaltered;
- Free access to premium A+ Content is now globally provided at the account level, regardless of specific countries: this implies that if the requirements are met in one country, access to premium A+ Content will be unlocked for free in all active countries.
🛒 Furthermore, the integration of shoppable images into comparative tables, along with the addition of an "Add to Cart" button, will soon enhance cross-selling opportunities!
