Amazon pioneers conversational shopping through Generative AI with Rufus
Amazon has introduced Rufus, an innovative AI-powered shopping assistant designed to revolutionize the online shopping experience. Rufus is trained in Amazon's extensive product catalog and utilizes insights from customer reviews and web data to provide personalized assistance to shoppers.
Launching initially in beta within Amazon's mobile app starting from February 1st, 2024, Rufus aims to gradually roll out to more customers in the U.S. in the coming weeks.
