Amazon introduces two new features for Brand Store: Video Reveal and Product Selector

Amazon continues to innovate how brands can engage with customers through their Brand Store by introducing two new features: Video Reveal and Product Selector. These additions are designed to enhance the shopping experience, making brand pages more dynamic and engaging.
Video Reveal: capture attention at first glance
Video Reveal is a feature that allows brands to welcome visitors to their Store with a video lasting between 2 and 8 seconds, automatically playing upon landing on the page. This innovation transforms the Store landing from a static to a dynamic experience, ideal for showcasing a flagship product or communicating a key brand message. The video requirements include a maximum size of 4 MB and support for mp4, m4v, and mov formats.
Product Selector: personalizing the shopping experience
The Product Selector is an interactive tool that guides shoppers in choosing the products best suited to their needs through a short questionnaire. Brands can promote up to 35 products, with the option to show alternatives if recommended products are unavailable. The selector allows for up to three questions, helping to filter products based on user responses. This feature is particularly useful for stores with extensive catalogs or products that cater to specific needs.
How to implement the Product Selector
- Set up the Product Selector: identify the products to promote and include them in the selector. If you have a large inventory, use the selector across multiple store pages to effectively cover each subcategory;
- Create the questionnaire: formulate relevant questions to guide customers in selecting the right products. Each question can have 2 to 4 answer options;
- Map products to answers: associate featured products with questionnaire answers, ensuring customers receive relevant recommendations;
- Product results: add a heading and a short description for the results, with a link to the store page where more products can be found;
- Customize the style: adjust design options to align with your Brand Store's style, enhancing the user experience.
With these two new features, Amazon provides brands with powerful tools to enhance customer interaction, making the shopping experience more personalized and engaging. These innovations not only help capture consumer attention but also effectively guide them toward products that best meet their needs.
